RibRaft Insulated Concrete Flooring

The RibRaft flooring system is an innovative method of concrete floor construction that's ideal for masonry home construction and residential and light commercial flooring. It provides an insulated floor of high strength and durability with considerable savings in construction time and money.

The system uses polystyrene pods, steel reinforcing rods, plastic spacers and Raft Mix concrete - each of the components fit simply together, dramatically reducing labour time and costs.

The insulation benefit (R Value) of a Firth RibRaft floor is considerably better than conventional floors. And where in-floor heating is used the polystyrene pods eliminate the need for further insulation.

RibRaft is the first floor system to gain an Accreditation from the BIA. The Accreditation, or Code mark, covers the system itself and a nonspecific design, but there are many ways the system can be engineered and constructed.
